Once Upon A Time

Do you ever have one of those weeks where things just seem to fall into place? Well this week has been just like that!

I’ve had a great response to this weeks pink theme and some lovely comments from people sharing their thoughts on weddings to come and memories of weddings past.

Who knew that yesterday’s post on Perfect Petals and the whole confetti debate would also bring me so many goodies to share.

First this lovely comment from Lisa Coupe

“I just read the quote on your blog about cherry blossom falling like confetti and it brought back memories of our wedding day. We grew up together (we even have pictures of us standing together at infant school!) and we started going out when we were fifteen. When we got married and we were posing for our photos we realised we were surrounded by the most beautiful cherry blossom trees, with petals falling around us it was truly magical.

Five years later we have two beautiful little girls, our own cherry blossoms, and a thriving wedding business. We couldn’t be happier!”

I thought you might like to see Lisa and Steven’s little cherry blossoms and she kindly sent me this photo to share, all dressed in pink!

As well as being a full-time mum Lisa has worked hard for the last two and a half years building up their Wedding stationery business. Lisa told me one of her priorities is to find the best prices for their products and printing to ensure she can pass those savings on to customers. Their handcrafted stationery, attention to detail and customer service has helped them build an established and solid bricks and mortar business with many happy and satisfied customers. To build on that success they are now developing an online presence and whilst their website is relatively new and isn’t quite there yet (they hope to add a shop in the very near future) this is a whole new and exciting venture for them. You can also find Lisa on Facebook where she is ready to chat, advise and help you.

Lisa told me that one of their most popular designs is the Damask range, which coincidentally is one of the patterns that Posy is featuring this week.

Orders of Service, Table Plans, Table Numbers and the Floral Damask Wedding Stationery range are just a few of the products available from Distinctive Stationery Designs

The Distinctive Damask Collection – a set of Toasting flutes, Knife and Serving set,          Pen with stand and Guestbook

I feel like I should say…and they lived happily ever after… which I am sure they will but I get the distinct impression that with Lisa’s drive and determination there will be a lot more story to come from the Coupe family if the last few years are anything to go by!

Just a reminder it’s Thrifty Thursday on Posy’s blog tomorrow, for those of you who are looking for budget ideas, and I have a great little hair accessory DIY for you that will go perfectly with this weeks pink with a touch of black so do tune in!

If you have a story to tell or pictures to share leave a message in the comments below or get in touch via the contacts page and I would love to hear your thoughts on any of my Posy blogs :)
